The Entry

The core team behind Minar group enters the steel industry in the state of Kerala, as a steel distributor.

1998

Anappuram Steels Pvt Ltd

Successfully builds a strong customer and dealer base in the market, playing a key role in covering the Wholesale Steel sales across South India.

2003

Minar Alloys & Forgings Pvt Ltd

Establishes the raw material factory for TMT manufacturing, Also forms the first ISO-ISI certified company, NIDA Kanjikode for Ingots manufacturing.

2006

Minar Ispat Pvt Ltd

Minar starts Melting and Rolling, the processes that prepare, ready to use TMT products.

2010

Minar Castings Pvt Ltd

Starts Billet manufacturing using Continuous Casting Machine (CCM technology).

2017

Minar Renewable Energy Projects Pvt Ltd

Starts the 8MW Pathamkayam Small Hydro Power Project, commissioned in a record breaking 18 months.

2020

Lohind Steels Pvt Ltd

Minar launches a subsidiary under the branding of LOHIND TMT.
